Set out early from Moshi or Arusha and enjoy a picturesque journey to Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, begin your wildlife adventure across its sweeping savannahs and acacia woodlands, where elephants roam in large herds and lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest can often be seen. Tarangire is also a haven for bird lovers, boasting more than 500 recorded species. Take a break for a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature,perhaps near the Tarangire River or beneath the ancient baobab trees.
