Overview

This 6-day adventure takes you across Tanzania’s most iconic national parks — Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. With a relaxed schedule, you will explore diverse landscapes, track the legendary Big Five, and witness breathtaking wildlife spectacles. From vast savannahs to the world’s largest caldera, this itinerary is crafted to maximise your game viewing while offering the comfort of hand-picked lodges and tented camps.

Tanzania is home to the famed Big Five, large predators, and a stunning array of birdlife. This safari offers the true spirit of exploration, combining unforgettable game drives with a once-in-a-lifetime connection to nature.

Day 01 :

Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife all year round. The park is one of Tanzania’s largest and home to lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Evening transfer to your lodge.
Overnight at Burunge, Maramboi Tented Lodge, Ngorongoro Farmhouse, or Bougainvillea. Full Board.

Day 02 :

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famed for its endless plains and rich concentration of wildlife. Expect sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and the annual wildebeest migration (seasonal).
Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp, Kubukubu Tented Camp, or Serena Serengeti. Full Board.

Day 03 :

Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the central Serengeti with game drives. This region, particularly Seronera, is known for excellent predator sightings. Picnic lunch in the bush and a chance to immerse yourself in the Serengeti’s rhythm.
Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp, Kubukubu Tented Camp, or Serena Serengeti. Full Board.

Day 04 :

Serengeti National Park

Another full day in Serengeti. With every drive, the park reveals new wildlife encounters, from grazing herbivores to stealthy hunters. By now, you will begin to feel the deep connection with this iconic wilderness.
Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp, Kubukubu Tented Camp, or Serena Serengeti. Full Board.

Day 05 :

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous crater. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater floor is home to more than 25,000 large animals including rhinos, lions, zebras, hippos, and flamingos. Afternoon ascent and transfer to your lodge.
Overnight at Tloma Lodge, Ngorongoro Farmhouse, or Bougainvillea. Full Board.

Day 06 :

Lake Manyara National Park – Departure

After breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and stunning birdlife. The park lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, offering unique landscapes and habitats. Afternoon transfer back to Arusha/Moshi or directly to the airport for your onward flight.
