After check-in and a relaxing lunch, enjoy a scenic 30-minute boat ride to Prison Island, which was once a place of exile for rebellious slaves and is now home to giant Aldabra tortoises. Spend time feeding and watering the tortoises, and enjoy swimming, snorkelling, or sunbathing in the coral-rich waters nearby. Return to Stone Town in the evening and enjoy dinner at Forodhani Gardens, which is highly recommended for local flavours.
