Overview

This 5-day safari takes you through Tanzania’s most famous national parks — Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. It is designed for travellers who want to experience the very best of Tanzania in a shorter timeframe, while still covering the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit.

The journey is offered year-round and guarantees exceptional wildlife viewing. Expect encounters with the Big Five, herds of elephants, plains filled with wildebeest, and birdlife of every colour. With hand-picked lodges and tented camps, you will enjoy comfort while staying close to nature.

Day 01 :

Tarangire National Park

Pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha/Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its baobab-dotted landscape and large elephant herds, the park is a year-round haven thanks to the Tarangire River. Game drive en route and enjoy the scenery before heading to your lodge.
Overnight at Burunge, Maramboi Tented Lodge, Ngorongoro Farmhouse, or Bougainvillea. Full Board.

Day 02 :

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Highlands. The endless plains of Serengeti are home to lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo, along with thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The Seronera Valley offers some of the best chances to spot big cats. Evening transfer to your tented camp or lodge.
Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp, Kubukubu Tented Camp, or Serena Serengeti. Full Board.

Day 03 :

Serengeti National Park

Full day of game drives in Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and spend the day tracking predators, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of antelopes. Every corner of Serengeti has a new story to tell.
Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp, Kubukubu Tented Camp, or Serena Serengeti. Full Board.

Day 04 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading towards Ngorongoro. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and home to an incredible density of wildlife including lions, hippos, and black rhinos. Afternoon ascent and drive to your lodge at the crater’s rim or nearby highlands.
Overnight at Tloma Lodge, Ngorongoro Farmhouse, or Bougainvillea. Full Board.

Day 05 :

Lake Manyara National Park – Departure

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but diverse park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, huge flocks of flamingos, and lush groundwater forests. It sits at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, offering dramatic landscapes. Afternoon transfer back to Arusha/Moshi or direct to the airport for your onward flight.
